Rozay Attacked Following Performance at Ignite Music Festival- "Not like us"

Rick Ross, the renowned rapper, found himself in a heated altercation with Drake's alleged associates following his performance at the Ignite Music Festival in Vancouver, Canada, on Sunday, June 30th. The incident occurred after Rozay, as he is affectionately known, decided to play Kendrick Lamar's chart-topping diss track "Not Like Us" during his set.

The song, which contains accusations of misconduct against Drake, angered a group of men who confronted Ross as he left the stage. According to reports, the men, believed to be part of Drake's OVO crew, engaged in a heated exchange with Ross and his entourage before one of them sucker-punched the rapper in the face, sparking a full-blown brawl.

Brawl Leaves Ross' Crew Battered and Bruised

The fight, which lasted several minutes, saw Ross' crew take a beating, with several members knocked to the ground. Footage of the incident shows one of Ross' associates lying unconscious on the grass, requiring assistance to be carried away.

Despite the initial punch, Ross managed to avoid the brunt of the scuffle, but his team was left battered and bruised. The altercation comes amid an ongoing feud between Ross and Drake, which has been simmering since April when Rozay released the diss track "Champagne Moments."

Feud Stems from Diss Track and Cease and Desist Letter

In the song, Ross mocks Drake's mixed heritage and alleged plastic surgery, rapping,

Weezy gave you the juice/ Another White boy at the park wanna hang with the crew," and "You ain't never want to be a n-gga anyway, n-gga. That's why you had an operation to make your nose smaller than your father nose, n-gga.

The feud is believed to have started over a cease and desist letter sent to French Montana regarding a feature, with Ross rapping,

"I unfollowed you, n-gga, 'cause you sent the motherfuckin' cease-and-desist to French Montana, n-gga. You sent the police, n-gga, hated on my dog project."

Controversy Sparks Outrage and Draws in The Weeknd

The incident has sparked outrage among fans, with many calling out Drake for allegedly liking an Instagram post about Ross getting jumped by his crew. The Weeknd, who has also been threatened by Toronto rapper Top5 for siding against Drake in his feud with Kendrick Lamar, Future, and Metro Boomin, has also been drawn into the controversy.

As the hip-hop community grapples with the aftermath of the Vancouver brawl, it remains to be seen how the feud between Ross and Drake will unfold. One thing is certain, however: the beef has taken a violent turn, and the repercussions could be far-reaching.
